Edmund Chu

Founder – Managing Partner

  • Edmund is a founding Partner of KOSMOS Holdings which is an investment holding company started with Gerard Pique (the recently retired player for FC Barcelona) Hiroshi Mikitani (the owner of Rakuten), Nullah Sarker (Investor and Shareholder in Bournemouth FC), and Mike Evans (Music producer). KOSMOS HOLDING has expanded to include 4 lines of business including KOSMOS TENNIS (Davis Cup), KOSMOS FOOTBALL (FC Andorra), KOSMOS STUDIOS (The Decision and PIQUE+ AND KOSMOS MANAGEMENT (Boutique sports agency).
  • Edmund was the Managing Director for SECA and looked over all the global development initiatives. He now sits as an Advisor to the company.
  • Edmund was the President of the DS TECHEETAH FORMULA E team from 2016 – 2022. DS TECHEETAH is the most successful team in FORMULA E history. DS TECHEETAH won both the Team and Driver Championship in Season 4 and Season 5 which has give the team a total of 5 Championships since the team inception.
  • Edmund was previously the Head of FC VIZELA – Purchased 5 years ago in the 3rd division of Portuguese Football – VIZELA has been promoted in back-to-back years culminating a position in the Portuguese premier division. This past year – VIZELA stayed in the Premier division. The club was sold this past summer.
  • Edmund continues to look after the exclusive partnership with ROC NATION – the entertainment agency started by JAY-Z. Edmund looks after the brand development of ROC NATION and the representation of all their clientele which includes ALICIA KEYS, RIHANNA, etc.
  • Edmund is an international consultant for Catchy – a leading Food and Beverage operator.
  • Edmund founded Stark Global Holdings which is a property investment company and is a partner of Visionaire – an art experiential company with NY based agency Visionaire negotiating a number of ART/FASHION collaborations including PEACE BIRD/TOILET PAPER & BALABALA/KRIS VAN ASSHE and BEARBRICK.

Jade Chu

Founding Partner

  • Jade born in Taipei Taiwan first entered the entertainment/model industry early in her teens. The youngest member of the popular 7 Flowers (Qi Duo Hua) female band allowed her to record music and tour around the world performing in front of hundreds of thousands of fans from Singapore to Indonesia. Signed by Warner Music 7 Flowers had several top ten hits including a cover of Madonna’s hit song – “Material Girl”.
  • She parlayed her music career into a media one and became an MTV VJ interviewing or introducing numerous Asian musical personalities from Japan and Korea including the likes of Big Bang, Super Junior, Girls Generation, 2NE1, Utada Hikaru, and Amuro Namie.
  • Jade has been featured in numerous magazines and commercial advertisement including IKEA, McDonalds’s, Mitsubishi Motors, Calbee, Tse Sui Luen Jewlery, Taiwan Mobile, Cathay United Bank.
  • After leaving her music & entertainment career – Jade received her Masters (New Media and Communication Administration) and a Bachelor of Interior Design.
  • Her second career saw her working for a number of esteemed design firms in China including T.K. Chu Design, and W.Design. Her involvement and design projects including 5-star hotels, Villas, Commercial real estate for the likes of the China Evergrande Group, Vanke, the Poly Group, Greenland, and Hong Kong Land.
  • Jade will consult on the brand/design side for all clients and is a license owner of many brands in China including Don Nino, an Italian brand.

Anders Forsberg

Partner

  • Anders is a Swedish entrepreneur whose first executive role in China began in the early 90’s as a senior executive for Chinese real estate developer Wanda Group. Mr. Forsberg has also more then 25 years experience operating one of the more prominent politically strong family offices in China as well as advising some of the biggest SOE / PE Investment Funds in China on cross boarder M&A transactions.
  • Through his multiple decades of business experience, Mr. Forsberg has forged successful and lasting partnerships with some of the most influential political and business groups in China as well as Internationally. He has gained distinguished career recognition as a skillful negotiator for both China in and outbound business, having brokered and represented numerous Fortune 500 companies and leading Industrial, Entertainment & Sport as well as retail brands in China.
  • Anders did the first sale of Chinese football players to UK (Manchester City & Crystal Palace) and brought 8 foreign players to Dalian Wanda who won 6 league Championships between 1993-2000. Anders managed the transactions between Wanda & Warner Brothers, Samsung, Disney, and Sofitel to mention just a few.
  • Anders was an Advisor to “Better Shelters” IKEA Foundation & The United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) to develop flat-pack shelters, designed to replace canvas and hoop tents currently used in most refugee camps worldwide adding solar modules to the roof top for light so the refugees can read and street solar lights to limit the number of rapes in the camps. Its deployment ensured a dramatic improvement to the lives of many people affected by crisis.
  • Won European union commission renewable award with Juno family office & Greenstream for the creation of more than 80 energy generation projects in China.
  • Incubated successfully more than 20 clean tech / energy saving transfer ESCO projects from EU to China mainland.
  • Anders sits on the following boards; Silvi Varo Carbon co, UniversalKraft & Alignment Ltd.

Joe Yang

  • Founder of Transivion, a marketing and PR solution company.
  • Co-Founder of DA Creative, a creative company, merging art consultation, marketing solutions, entertainment and events activation.
  • Promoted many brands to cooperate with well-known top IPs in art and fashion, including Be@rbrick, Kris Van Assche, Sony Pictures, Toilet paper etc. At the same time, DA Creative provides curatorial and creative content for URF (the operating group of Shanghai TX Huaihai) as its special creative agency . Successfully signed the agency services of high-quality IP in China, such as former Dior Homme creative director Kris Van Assche and Visionaire New York’s top art experience agency.
  • With over 10 years of experience in marketing/channel marketing, he has established close relationships with luxury shopping mall operators such as Wharf Group, Hongkong Land, Swire Group, China Resources Group, New World Development, Shui On Group, Bailian Group, Fosun Group, etc.
  • Assisted clients cooperate with world-renowned luxury and FMCG brands, such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, Savoir Bed, De Beers, La Mer, Givenchy, Guerlain, Diptyque, EVE LOM , The Laundress, HeyTea and Yao cards etc.. During his career, he has led and participated in brand sponsorship and cooperation projects with Freize London Art Fair, Queen Charlotte Ball, Design Shanghai, ART 021, and West Bund Art Fair.
  • Provided full marketing/trade marketing solutions to international brands for China expansion, from e-commerce and store operations, social media, public relations management, store location selection and landlord negotiation etc.. Assisted brands to enter the following world-renowned retailers: Lane Crawford, Farfetch, Net-a-porter, JD Luxury, Sephora, etc.
  • He is helping international and local brands on comprehensive services such as financial advisory, creative instruction, post-investment instruction, and go to market strategies and retail experience consulting.

Jeanne Chuang

  • Jeanne has 18 years B2C/B2B marketing experience in food & beverage business in Greater China. Expertise in strategic business planning, brand development, e-commerce/ digital strategy/activation, NPD process;
  • Jeanne has been working in media, PR and brand development in FMCG, F&B, agriculture and retail business across markets in Asia: Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mainland China.
  • Jeanne has profound knowledge of value chain and operation of F&B business. She was the bakery and pastry category director in Starbucks China for leading the team for NPD development. Excellent in identifying the consumer insight and product localization development for annual pipelines. Jeanne gained her French Pastry/Cuisine certificate in Le cordon bleu, Paris, France.
  • Jeanne was the Marketing Head in Zespri New Zealand kiwifruit in Greater China. She led the brand development and activation for doubling the business size in 3 year time.
  • Jeanne was the Head of Branding and Marketing for Woolworths International which is a stock listed retail company in the Australian and New Zealand market. Woolworths owns over 1300 supermarkets and has an extensive beverage retail chain. Jeanne successfully launched the grocery products brands in the Chinese market and managed a wide range of wine brand portfolio from over 50 countries.
  • As the marketing management professional working in multinational companies, Jeanne is familiar with how to engage, coordinate and lead the discussion with stakeholders from different countries and culture background.
